View V-580as SWIPE swimming goggle lens

I have never had prescription swimming goggles before, and these are amazing. Being able to actually see clearly in the water has made such a difference!

I have been a swimmer my whole life. I grew up on a swim team and was a varsity high school swimmer, with the 500-metre freestyle as my main event, as well as the 100-metre breaststroke and butterfly. More recently, after seven years of living and swimming in Whitstable, I have started swimming regularly at St Andrews Lakes. I am hoping to continue open-water swimming throughout the winter this year, so I decided it was time to invest in some good-quality kit.

The goggles were really easy to put together and adjust, and I have found them very comfortable to use. They are also easy to keep clean. I simply rinse the lenses in water and, if anything remains on them, gently rub them with my fingers as recommended.

I particularly like the UV protection and darker lenses, which are really useful for open-water swimming. The prescription lenses have also made sighting buoys much easier because I can actually see where I am going instead of trying to make out blurry shapes in the distance.

I will definitely buy these again. The only thing I would love to see in the future is an option for prescription lenses that are also mirrored and polarised, as that would be fantastic for outdoor and open-water swimming.
