Offering great value and an exceptional power range, the Sutton Swimwear WHALE has a moulded, soft mount for added comfort around the eyes and across the nose.

With one of the widest power ranges available in an off the shelf goggle (from +6.00 to -12.00*) this model also has green tinted lenses with a stylish purple mirrored finish and the latest anti-fog technology. The easily adjustable, split strap ensures great fitting.

IMPORTANT - read the fitting directions below to avoid double vision

*As the power of a goggle increases, the distance between the centre of the lenses needs to match that of your eyes as closely as possible to avoid double vision. As this goggle has a fixed width bridge, ensure you try them on when they arrive to ensure a good fit and no double vision. Any issues, replace the protective sticker back on the lenses and contact us.

    Seem quality but

    These goggles seem well

    Made but the fit is poor and let’s water in.

    Also parallax under water is chronic, close things are visible but distance gives weird double vision effects.

    IMPORTANT - read the fitting directions below to avoid double vision

    *As the power of a goggle increases, the distance between the centre of the lenses needs to match that of your eyes as closely as possible to avoid double vision.
    As this goggle has a fixed width bridge, ensure you try them on when they arrive to ensure a good fit and no double vision.

    If you do decide to re-order, I would suggest choosing a goggle with an adjustable or interchangeable nosebridge.

    Great goggles

    I am very short sighted, most companies don’t have goggles anywhere near my prescription

    These are perfect, I can now keep an eye on the clock from the pool, recognise other swimmers and improve my swims

    All at a great price, love them

    Double vision regardless of tips provided

    Unfortunately there is a lot less choice in the positive prescription range and I thought these would be like the other decent Sutton swimwear products I have purchased in the past. They are for open water swimming where siting your destination is sort of necessary. Disappointingly, double vision persists during pool practice and I've tried all the tips. If you could advise of another compatible frame and gaskets for the lenses that would be great because I believe, like others, that the huge nose bridge is the cause of the issue.

    Sadly this is the only mirrored lens, plus powered goggle we can source.
    There is an extra warning about the fixed nosebridge/double vision on the webpage.
    For open water, a mirrored lens is ideal for reducing the sun's glare from the water.
    The next best option is to choose one with tinted lenses from these options (x5) with an interchangeable/adjustable bridge;

    I will be in touch to ask you about the vision with the Whale -7.00 lenses.
    I note from another review that the Wave goggles in -7.00 have ideal vision.

    It could be because the Whale goggle has a fixed width bridge, As the power of a goggle increases, the distance between the centre of the lenses needs to match that of your eyes as closely as possible to avoid double vision.
    This is mentioned on our webpage and explains why trying them on for vision and fit is so important.
