Speedo HYDROPURE swimming goggles including prescription lenses

I bought these goggles recently and unfortunately they’ve been unusable from the very first swim. The left lens fills with water before I can even complete a single length, completely ruining the session.

I contacted support and explained the issue clearly. Despite this, the only response I received was that it “sounds like a fitting issue” and that I should “look at a different style with an adjustable bridge”.

The goggles do not seal at all, even when pressed firmly against my face outside the pool. I followed their fitting guide exactly, but the problem remained. There is no adjustable nose bridge on this model, so the advice wasn’t even relevant.

What I found most disappointing was the lack of any real troubleshooting or willingness to help. The replies felt generic and dismissive, with no acknowledgement that the product itself might be faulty. All they seem to care about is me ordering another one...with no guarantee that'll work for m either

I understand their policy about not refunding used goggles, but when a product fails immediately and the support team simply repeats the same scripted message, it leaves the customer with no solution.

Overall, a very poor experience — both the goggles and the customer service fell well below expectations.

These are my second pair of Hydropure goggles. I hadn’t realised that the lens could be scratched so easily when I cleaned them. Now I have a new pair with a bag provided, I will take more care of them. Although they still get a little steamed up, they remain watertight and gives very clear vision .
