    Trax Paddles

    These came as a free gift with some swimming goggles but they are actually terrific. They increase the amount of effort you expend when swimming so, looking at it one way, they increase the intensity of your workout; looking at it the the other way, because you expend more effort, you don't have to swim so far ;_)

    This is a great idea to warm up your arm, back and chest muscles in the pool before swimming.
    The resistance is excellent for upper body strength training alongside the cardio benefits of swimming.
