Sutton Swimwear WHALE swimming goggles including prescription lenses
Offering great value and an exceptional power range, the Sutton Swimwear WHALE has a moulded, soft mount for added comfort around the eyes and across the nose.
With one of the widest power ranges available in an off the shelf goggle (from +6.00 to -12.00*) this model also has green tinted lenses with a stylish purple mirrored finish and the latest anti-fog technology. The easily adjustable, split strap ensures great fitting.
IMPORTANT - read the fitting directions below to avoid double vision
*As the power of a goggle increases, the distance between the centre of the lenses needs to match that of your eyes as closely as possible to avoid double vision. As this goggle has a fixed width bridge, ensure you try them on when they arrive to ensure a good fit and no double vision. Any issues, replace the protective sticker back on the lenses and contact us.

Swimming goggles have a silicone layer on the inner surface to help prevent droplets forming and so fogging the lens. Overtime this can breakdown, so a bottle of anti-fog spray is a good investment.

Unfortunately there is a lot less choice in the positive prescription range and I thought these would be like the other decent Sutton swimwear products I have purchased in the past. They are for open water swimming where siting your destination is sort of necessary. Disappointingly, double vision persists during pool practice and I've tried all the tips. If you could advise of another compatible frame and gaskets for the lenses that would be great because I believe, like others, that the huge nose bridge is the cause of the issue.

Sadly this is the only mirrored lens, plus powered goggle we can source.
There is an extra warning about the fixed nosebridge/double vision on the webpage.
For open water, a mirrored lens is ideal for reducing the sun's glare from the water.
The next best option is to choose one with tinted lenses from these options (x5) with an interchangeable/adjustable bridge;

It doesn’t feel like the strength on these is correct, despite being marked as correct. Very disappointing

I will be in touch to ask you about the vision with the Whale -7.00 lenses.
I note from another review that the Wave goggles in -7.00 have ideal vision.It could be because the Whale goggle has a fixed width bridge, As the power of a goggle increases, the distance between the centre of the lenses needs to match that of your eyes as closely as possible to avoid double vision.
This is mentioned on our webpage and explains why trying them on for vision and fit is so important. - KRKate R.Verified BuyerI recommend this productHow old are you? 60-69How often do you swim? Several times a weekRated 4 out of 5 stars2 months agoPrescription goggles
These are great - very comfortable and I can see at last. Only downside is that I have a narrow bridge and the goggles have a non-adjustable bridge which is quite wide. So I have to manouevre the goggles as far as I can to a narrower look so that I dont get double vision. But generally am really happy.

Hi there, though I was delighted to be able to order high presecription (minus 10) goggles, when they arrived I realised that they don't fit. They are too big for me over the nose. I have a very narrow face and nose, and I need an adjustable nose bridge. I've used them, but because they are too far apart, I have double vision with the goggles. Its a pity. Kind regards.
