Welcome to Butterflies Healthcare. Founded in 2004 and incorporated in 2006, Butterflies Healthcare is an expanding, family run company with a background in Optics and Pharmacy.
History Michelle found it difficult to source customer requests for new dry eye drops and eye vitamins being recommended by local ophthalmologists while working as a pharmacist. James had started writing websites for friends as a hobby and had also noticed that many optical swimming goggles were not represented in high street opticians. They decided to write websites specific to these niche products and gradually have been approached by other manufacturers to distribute their product ranges.  We sell most items through mail order either over the internet, by phone or post but also have a retail store in Middleton Cheney near Banbury. Our four knowledgeable ladies, Aimee, Julie, Suzanne and Tracy, take and fulfil your orders and pass on any detailed queries they are unable to answer to James and Michelle. They are responsible for the day to day running of the order fulfilment process.In the case of our key brands we also supply direct to pharmacies, opticians and health stores so they may be available in your local area. Shipping And Handling
We charge a flat rate for postage and packaging of: £3.50 within the UK £9.00 to the selected countries within the European Union and £15.00 for the rest of the world All UK orders are sent by First Class mail or Special Delivery. International orders are sent by Airsure or International Signed For. |

Delivery Schedule
Your order will be sent to the delivery address according to this schedule.
International orders will be despatched in accordance with the above schedule but can take up to 28 days to arrive. |

Tax Charges
All prices quoted include VAT where appropriate. This is the current standard rate on most items and 9.2% on ophthalmic items (contact lenses, sports eyewear, frames etc). If your delivery country is outside the EU these are exempt from VAT (please tick to exempt yourself in the checkout), but you may be required to pay import duties by your government, you will be notified by the courier if this is the case. |

Guarantee
You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to us by post or e-mail to the address or e-mail address shown above, giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to us at your own cost. The goods must be returned to the address shown above. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit. Once you have notified us that you are cancelling the contract we will refund or recredit you with 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods. If you do not return the goods as required, we may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct cost of recovering the goods. As we are owned by a qualified optometrist, we really understand your visual needs. Our customer service team are always happy to offer advice and guidance for product selection or any enquiry you may have.We can offer expert advice on the best prescription goggles for your needs and are able to supply prescription goggles to children, adults and specialist complex prescriptions
Should you find any fault with your goods then simply return them to us explaining the problem. We will then either rectify the matter or offer a full refund. Please bear in mind the following:

Remittance Terms
Full payment required at the time of order. Please note that credit card statements will be debited under the name of 'Butterflies Healthcare'. We accept payment by most major credit cards and the transaction will be processed by Actinic Payments, PayPal or RBS Worldpay on our behalf. All prices on the site are quoted in UK Pounds and your credit card company will convert the transaction from UK Pounds to your own currency.  Every effort is made to ensure that the prices shown in our catalogue are accurate at the time you place you order. If an error is found, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order.
